Osvaldo has performed mostly in restaurants and private parties. He can please a quiet dine’n'dance lounge type setting, or get a crowd moving on the dance floor with such dance rhythms Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, Flamenco, , Cha Cha, Smooth and Latin Jazz, Samba, Bossa Nova, and numbers from Santana. His audiences greatly appreciate his sexy voice as well as his musical versatility. Dance students and teachers alike delight to Del Mar’s ability to please so many tastes and get them dancing to a wide variety of rhythms. His international style specializing in genuine Latin sound is unique to the Lower Mainland.

He plays either as a one-man band, or as a duo and/or trio, depending on the event. His background/lounge style music is perfect for a corporate event, Happy Hour, or wedding. His great sound includes vocals, congas, synth guitar, and timbales.

The Vancouver Yacht Club, Mr. A’s Restaurant (Newlands Golf Course), Rafters, El Patio, Pepitas on Denman, Latin Quarter, Café de Medicci, Villa Giuseppe, El Caravan, La Scala, Kimberley’s Gills & Grapes, Havana Bar, Beecher Street Café, Santos Tapas, Burro’s, and Bouzyo’s are some of the places Del Mar has performed at; he recently entertained a corporate event at the Vancouver Airport Conference Resort.
