Not Yet Rated Blues | PianoWhile continuing to tour with Saffire, Ann Rabson devotes a portion of each month to her own solo performances. This will bring her to The Silver Dollar Room in Toronto on Aug.22nd. The blues have been a friend to Ann since she was four years old, when she first heard Big Bill Broonzy and through it all she has never wavered from her love and respect for that beautiful, pure, simple sound that first captured her ears in 1949. Accompanying herself on piano and guitar her vocal delivery has been described as passionate and powerful, gruff but serious. Ann Rabson has released two solo recordings. "Music Makin` Mama" on Alligator and "Struttin` My Stuff" on MC Records.
