The most awesomest band ever!! When they play it's like everyone else disappears and it's hard to even remember stresses of the day.

Reviewed in Cadence Jazz magazine - October 2003 Doug Laalo, an up-and-coming Canadian singer ... has one of those androgynous tenor voices that carries a sneaking resemblance to Chet Baker. He doesn't deviate much from the melody in his singing, but does convey a sense of intimacy and romance. He's helped along by a sensitive piano trio, smart string arranging and the occasional gritty tenor interjection from Jerry Bergonzi. "The Way You Look Tonight", "You Don't Know What Love Is" and "Don't Worry 'Bout Me" showcase all the best features of his style. coming off seductive, sweet and subtle. He is a promising singer who hopefully will get to record much more. Jerome Wilson
