Not Yet Rated MetalFounded in White Rock, Quartered, formed in 2001 to achieve one common goal; to simply create their own brand of music that they and hopefully others would be able enjoy and relate to. By creating their own unique sound that combines metal, hardcore, melody and a bit of funk, they have created music that can only be described with one word, Quartered. Using energetic riffs with emotions that are melancholy, angry, and inspirational, and being able to perform and all out intense live show that separates them from so many other bands, they are able to captivate their audiences wherever they play, whether it be in concert or in the CD player. The five founding members, Greg Williams, Todd Sanft, Jeff Wang, Craig Rudder, and Scott Miller each add their own style to the music creating the fresh, unique sound that is the band. After playing many shows throughout the Lower Mainland at such places as the Croatian Cultural Center, Mesa Luna, China Beach (Now known as Liquid), and dozens of other halls, clubs, and bars for four years, the band has now perfected and refined their sound and style to the true art it is and are ready to break out, to be heard, and to make their mark in the industry.
