The most awesomest band ever!! When they play it's like everyone else disappears and it's hard to even remember stresses of the day.

Alternative | Drum And Bass | Folk | Funk | Pop | Reggae | Rock

Tribal is influenced by such bands as Johnny Lee Hooker, Primus, The Doors, Victor Vooten, Bele Fleck and the Flecktones, Jimi Hendrix, and Canned Heat to name a few; as well as classic alternative, and progressive rock artists such as Dave Matthews Band, Ben Harper and Traditional Pow Wow music.

The hypnotizing guitar seems to converse with the band like an ancient soul language that has been lost for many years.

Tribal has recorded one CD: 2004's Live in SA, which contains two super groves "Voyage to Pluto" and "Hear my train coming". They are workiing on their second CD and it will be on sale September 1, 2006 at the First Annual Tribal Funk Festival. Tribal has enjoyed great success over the past years with their self-proclaimed "Super Funk" sounds. They have performed at festivals, clubs, coffee houses, and benefits throughout southern BC, and are looking forward to their first European tour. They also appeared as special guests for the Salman Arm Roots and Blues Voulunteer party.

Tribal members have played with a variety of artist such as Johnny Lee Hooker, Les Batinses, The Quebec Fiddlers, John Ferrera, Aaron Anderson of the Buddy Miles Band and Juno award winner, Richard Underhill. At the Summerland Music Festival, August 4, Tribal was the opening act for Ian Tyson and was asked to please come back for next year.

Tribal is the inspiration for the Tribal Funk Festival which will be an Annual Festival in Salmon Arm, British Columbia, Canada. The Festival will be a fund raiser for a Music Camp for Underprivileged Children.
