Not Yet Rated FolkGaining much influence from the folk, blues and jazz stylings of the 1920s to 1940s, Tiiu’s voice displays a kinship with the souls of yesteryear, while her songwriting delves into the constants found in life and love. A bit of a wanderer, Tiiu has achieved notable recognition in all the Ontario towns she has called home over the years, as a remarkable singer-songwriter and compassionate performer. Audiences are taking note further a field, as she has been diligently and extensively touring Central and Eastern Canada. The past year saw many opportunities for Tiiu, as she shared stages with Ian Tamblyn, Ember Swift, and Sarah Metzner; she was invited into CBC Radio to speak about her work on numerous occassions; and she completed a five-song EP, "Gone are the Days", which features performances by Mike Evin and David Celia.
