Always evolving in style and technique, the latest full length CD "Sonic Cherry Pop" was recorded at Greenhouse Studios in Vancouver in April 2000 and features the singles "Unbalanced", "Exposure", and "Nobody". The long list of clubs that have played host to Flip Nixon include Champagnes, The Gate, The Funky Planet, The Starfish Room, Studebakers Cabaret, The Roxy, China Beach, Side FX, Backavenue, The Unicorn, Club Paradise, Flashbacks, and two appearances at the Mother of all Okanagan shows.... The Okanagan Music Festival in Penticton. Flip Nixon has played with groups including the Headstones, Rhymes with Orange, Nickleback, and Loverboy. Flip Nixon has been featured in the NBC series "Just Deal", and has appeared on VTV "Dream-seekers" and SHAW "Urban Rush".Live Shows Always focused on the future, the band is continually writing, recording, and performing. One focus is to always entertain while on stage. Energy is extreme when Flip Nixon plays live... jumping, running, moshing... and that's just the band. The Band is always in varied costumes ( anything goes ! ) and is maintaining interactive elements in the shows that excite the crowd, and encourage dancing and FUN !!
