Not Yet Rated RockWith an ever-so-slight husk in her voice, and passionate rock tunes, Vallings may remind you a bit of Melissa Etheridge -- but her song-weaving skills keep on going from there. Her music (on the newest album) varies from sensual spoken word (accompanied by tablahs), to a Philosopher Kings-like pop tune, to a grassroots folk ballad. Great stuff!
