Vapour Trail
Not Yet Rated RockVapour Trail was formed in Ottawa, Canada in May of 2001 when Christopher Bean and Matt Laforest answered a classified ad placed by Josh Gibson-Fraser. Hold on, it starts getting better.After a meeting and a few beers at a local Ottawa watering hole, the three got together to jam. The mesh of skill, style, and personality pretty much ensured that the three of them would be sticking together for the foreseeable future. After much writing, rehearsing, and a knockout, drag-down battle over a name, Vapour Trail was born. Armed with an arsenal of songs that are as equally uplifting as they are cathartic they burst onto the Ottawa rock scene. With growing success, and a large fan base, Vapour Trail has just recorded their first single: Far Away. They claim influences such as U2, Matthew Good Band, and Coldplay, but it’s clear to see they have a style and sound all their own.
