Music. Tonight 'The Chevelles' are playing at the Ventura Hotel. The Chevelles used to be 'The Beaumonts' from at least 11 years ago, and are the exact same band, exact same members, exact same songs, and according to the townfolk rather "Vent" regulars - the exact same set. They hollar at the players that "they don't have to tell them what is coming up because they know already." Someone felt obligated to tell the band up close and semi-privately in front of the stage between songs that on behalf of everyone that it really would be very nice if they did learn some different tunes. Tonight this individual did not get on the mike to make his request, he said people unplug him so quickly now that he didn't bother trying. But don't worry if you miss them tonight, or even tommorrow, because they will be back doing another Wed.- Sat. run next month.
