The most awesomest band ever!! When they play it's like everyone else disappears and it's hard to even remember stresses of the day.

I just read your review of the November 18th show. I love that although we're "ripoffs", we also offer some "clever song writing". Way to slam us. You show us.

It's true there was a lot of the "show us yer tits" stuff going on but it was all coming from the crowd. I would like to point out that I did show my tits to the young lady who was so interested in them that I thought that she might faint...I even let her cop a feel.

Where: The Picadilly Pub on the corner of Crack and Heroin.

Who: Royal Grand Prix, the Spinoffs and 2 members of the Load Levellers

What an awesome band! I love bands that ROCK THAT MUCH! Spinoffs played a sketch, too-fast-for-their-own-good set of back to back ripoffs. Upbeat and danceable (until the drummer loses time) with annoying vocals. Good backups though, and some clever song writing. Nuthin' I ain't seen before though. Okay so that's a pretty harsh review but what else can you say after you see Royal Grand Prix?

The Load Levellers couldn't get across the border (what's with that anyway?) so the banjo player and the drummer ripped it up with some foot-stompin' red neck tunes. Lock up yr barn animals and make out with your sister!

Royal Grand Prix (pronounced pricks) put on a spectacular show. Co-ordinated dance moves are awesome! Okay so Kiss pretty much did it all but I haven't seen too many local acts pull it off. Did I mention co-ordinated dance moves are awesome? Songs such as Squeegie Boy, Too Drunk to Cook, Full Service and Life in the Fast Line were played fast and furious and MAN DID THEY ROCK. Couldn't help but dance. I wasn't a big fan of the repetitive asking for girls to dance onstage and show off their chests. Maybe I should work on being a guy to actually appreciate the brilliance in such statements as "show us your tits". Anyway the set ended with all of them writhing on the ground covered in sweat. I was glad I paid 8 dollars to them instead of some crappy movie.
