| Subject: Band or musicians needed for downtown Vancouver theater style ROCK show |

We are looking for a band (musicians) to perform a range of cover songs for a theatre style comedy show with a “Rock Star” twist. The twist is that it takes place at a bar, the actors can drink on stage and the script makes fun of anything pop-culture.
The show consists of 15 songs ranging from Mr. Brightside – The Killers, The Best of You – Foo Fighters, Gnarls Barkley – Crazy, Dexy’s Midnight Runner – Come on Eileen, I’m Just a Girl – No Doubt…and so on. As you can see the music ranges quite a bit but will always have an upbeat tempo.
We are looking for the following musicians: guitar players, keys, bass and drums…but are open to different combinations. Sorry to all you singers, but no vocals will be needed, as our cast will take care of that part. Because it takes place at a bar, you must be of legal drinking age.
The show runs October 13,14,20,21 with rehearsals happening about once a week. The venue will be downtown Vancouver and will provide great exposure to about 120 people per night. All the ticket sales from the show are going to a local charity so this would be a non-paying gig.
