The most awesomest band ever!! When they play it's like everyone else disappears and it's hard to even remember stresses of the day.

I am not giving the answer to Trivia question #2 (what Vancouver Punk Rock singer/guitar player re-created, and improved, the board game Monopoly?) but I wil give one more clue: it is NOT A) Cosmos B) Cosmic C) Bernard D) Joe Blow.

Fantastic quote Mabel, I've never heard of this Eva person, but I can tell you I am now thinking twice before eating the entire bag of chips and bottle of coke I got on my way home from work tonight!

"judge" is a piece of bullshit. Any institution involving "proof" outside of ourselves is automatically corruptable.

I agree with Eva Sorels master, "The man with the crutches..... He saved Eva and awakened her. He taught her her art." Eva was a circus performer that was discovered and made into a ballet dancer that became the toast of London. "This is what her master taught her: Train your body to fear and obey the spirit. What you grant the body beyond its necessity makes you its slave. Never be the one seduced. Seduce others, and your way will always be your own to see. Give yourself wholly only to your work. Passions of sense lay waste the heart....." - The World's Illussion, by Jacob Wassermann.

but mj, you could be a Liberal Arts professor and have dozens of hot young students interested in you for your mind.. that wouldn't be suffering would it?

the answer to question #1 is: LOVERBOY.

hey mj, I don't particularly like weddings either. I think they are o.k. for people over 45. I think the same-sex marriage debate is one more piece of evidence why an institution involving a

Hey Mabel, A thing about guys you should know is that for the most part we don't like weddings.....unless we can meet babes, or our friends are going and there is an open bar. Other than that it's a chore which we will do, but not too happily. I had a girlfriend who asked me to a wedding, I said yes because I was into her, but was not looking forward to the wedding. And so, I was right, I was bored out of my fucking mind! I didn't know these people, it was all so lame, so I just drank too much and she got mad at me for drinking saying it was rude!

As for my degree, I sadly suffer from Liberal Arts Syndrome. I should have studied law or something, now I'm all educated up with no where to go!

sex "IN CARS" I should specify...

y'know, speaking of sex, does everyone remember that I have 2 weddings to attend this summer? Well I do. I thought back to my last boyfriend and decided to ask him seeing as I popped his cherry and all... he said no. Or rather his WIFE did. He asked his WIFE if could escort me !@#$%, the escort services are looking better by the day. It forced me to reckon with the fact it's been 10 years since I had a boyfriend (he was 17 I'm a little older...none of your business by how much but I haven't been lying about a womans sexual peak being 28-32) oh I've had a couple of flings since, I suppose... one with the impending groom, which is why it is so crucial I go with someone - he offered to fix me up!. I told him I could manage myself, thanks. hm, Maybe now Brett Sobel has some free time (ooh soap hole)

I'm sure sex is not legal in Canada, but that man-made term certainly has not influenced my life, when I know better...

I am not giving the answers to the trivia questions yet, I have given one hint regarding the 'Trivial Pursuit' band, here is a hint for the second best board game inventor: one of the bands he is lead vocalist/guitarist for is "Rock & Roll Survivors," that may help.....

yes mj, Engine of the Future is a good band. what courses were your student loans for?

I think I'm glad Vancouver is out of the play-offs, maybe now my skin will clear up I swear I got a couple of zits from that series !@#$%

"F.O." is playing May 25, 03 @ Carole's Garden Cafe, in Edgewood B.C.

Is sex legal in cars in Canada??

Thank you kindly Mabel, I look forward to finally seeing Rhonda! I just hope it's not a night that I'm working - I now work nights, so my ability to see live bands has dropped off enormously...although sometimes I finish early enough to catch the last few songs of some bands....but my student loan payments must be made somehow (at least for now, until I have to choose between rent/food and loan payments)!

Being from Toronto, I'm not familiar with Engine of The Future (love the name). Are they good?

hey... who has a question in the Genus 5 edition of Trivial Pursuit, in the Wild Card category: "What Vancouver band said in 1999 (shit! this may be 1998) 'We are back bigger, badder, and balder..?"

This is SO excellent, historically memoralized in the best board game in the world! Second runner for best board game in the world goes to a Vancouver Punk Rocker (lead singer/guitarist), for his revised and improved version of Monopoly. Anyone venture a guess at this?

Did you know sex was legallized in cars in Italy, 2000?

hey mj, I'm waiting on Rhonda to let me know of her next event for you to graciously attend...
