Um...lets see...Um... I'm actually "barred" from the Failway, because a jeolous "ex" attacked me, and he turnerd out to be good buddies with the fecal encrusted owner....truth, ruth..Such is mango....But after orginizing wakes for departed Vancouver Icons, playing there and selling it out umpteen times (even after the life-time curse), conducting interviews (again after the barring), having "stags" at said "private" club, and obviously spending thousands over the last so many years...I still find it entertaining to get dressed up like a freakin' hip scenester with my beatle-bangs wig, polo scare-wear booties, ford pier shirt, nardwar pin, CUB attitude, sport the bristol "PISS OFF YA TURBO-NUTTER" drawl and get tossed out on occasion! ( I actually quote Obi Won Kanobi as a slip past Stan at the door..."this is'nt the droid we're looking for, move along") ....An especially cunning stunt is to pour yourself pints (or pitchers) while the bartender is flipping the pretenders tape over to the elvis costello side.Or is it a tape loop?....Sounds like it was fun,.92 eh?...Is'nt that the average age of the lunch crowd?...so sorry... I was at BigBamBoo, holding court with the backstreet boys' gal-palz....dude. (ette?)
