this sounds very interesting. Especially since it involves Capilano College (which I attended), it's superb accoustix Theatre, Redwire Mag and Regeneration. But I'm not a youth now (thank !@#$ heaven although this womens sexual peak season could pass anytime soon.. I would not complain)... What are the requirements for performing in this event?

Vancouver/ BC bands, punk, ska , rock ,metal and otherwise are wanted to be part of a music showcase event/ conference at Cap College from October 1-5 called Regeneration. It is founded and similar to the minds who created NewMusicWest (and is just as big) except is it based on the premise that is run by students(youth) for other youth who wish to partake in music and its industry. The event is sponsored by Subway, Tom Lee Music, Health Canada, Western Economic Diversification, Redwire Native Youth Media Society and many kind others. There is room for well over 40 artist to play and big Canadian names are already expected on the bill. We feel that it is very important that the bands/ musicians playing understand what regeneration is about. Artists or band that wish to be considered as part of the bill need only pay a small 10$ fee and submit a recording (if any of you played or saw bands at NewMusicWest, it's well worth the investment) of a couple songs. we apologize but live auditions aren't feasible. We hope to hear from you and promise you will be judged fairly and treated suit.
