The Grand Finals for Livewirepalooza will take place at Studebakers Saturday May 17th the bands who will play are: Wreckin crew Sidesixtyseven The Lady Esther Insipid Honeybox

The Doors open at 8pm the show starts at 9pm, so come out and support Vancouvers Local Music Scene.

Prizes to the last standing competitors are: $1,000, an opening spot for a major act presented by Black Magic Entertainment and Rockit Boy Entertainment, an interview with Jeff O'Neil & Todd Hancock on 99.3 The Fox, an interview and performance on Shaw TV’s Urban Rush, Recording at Turtle Studios, free website design by Blackthorpe Media, 10 hours pre-production at Charts Music, 1 song VHS / Internet, 10 hours of rehearsal time at Jam Factory, Snowboards, skydiving, free entry to all participating venues for 14 weeks. Still more sponsors and prizes to be announced.

The judging will be based on songwriting ability, overall performance, vocals, crowd response, image, and musicianship. The judges are representatives from 99.3 The Fox, Warner Records, Sony Records, Virgin Records, Nettwerk Records, House of Blues Concerts, S.L. Feldman & Associates, Paul Mercs Concerts, The Georgia Straight, The Westender, Green House Studios, vancouverbands.com, Nerve Magazine and Rockit Boy Entertainment.

Additional suppliers are Clydsdale Cases, Eye Teaser Graphics and CD’s, Sortapop Studios, Pacific Skydivers, Snowboards, Nerve Records, C.H.A.R.T.S, Nerve Magazine, Terminal City, and Dirks Custom Drums.
