haha i dont really consider Band Wars to be even a proper show-- it sucks how theres that rule: "No Moshing".. some of the bands are pretty good; i know a couple of the bands that play there.. Stardust is gross though!! Band Wars costs way too much... its like... 10 bucks.. can be fun sometimes though i guess...

This past Friday nite Sept.12, Stardust roller rink in Surrey, kicked off their Band Wars contest with a bang. The first band to take the stage was a new band called Reconcile, and they played very well with 4 of their originals and doing a great version of Metallica's Seek & Destroy. Pleed Innocent played next with 3 originals and covering Blink's Dammit and Blur's song 2.Black Sunlight ripped it up next with all original songs of pure Metal.Satchmo was the 4th band and they played well too.The very last band of the nite was called Shamble(a 4 piece band with a female vocalist)they were definetly a crowd pleaser. Reconcile and Shamble were judged to be the best out of the 5 bands and are both moving on to the finals of the contest, which is at Stardust on November 28
