I'm thinking perhaps this is a good reason I have my own tittys, but still very ruff to get gigs that pay- in Van. especially having an 'unfileable' sound. One day, I may have my own venue. NOT in Van. you'll all be invited.

Its tough with the Apapthy of Vancouver. This is a beach and snowboard city, not a music city. Scensters only follow the kool trends because the need to not make the mistake of not being KOOL is really strong here. Now thats not a negitve or jaded commentary on Vancity, just an observation. It is also the artists or lack of artistic fever that suffers the most. Just because you have some gear and can play ,a bit ...some think in their head that they have arrived. I write songs but am i really a songwriter. Try going to jam in any other city than Vancouver,go to Seattle,Toronto or L.A. better still try on San Francisco and see what your made of. You will run back lookin for mamas titty. Here the only way out is out. That ticket is not building a following its musician-ship and song crafting and some Grease for the radio stations. How can Indy bands compete with corporate grease(money) you cant so dont. You will get a spin on the Indy hour but thats it. Lose the pre bought PUNK outfits and cop a style. Mamas titty is running DRY......not concerned.

writting music that gets into every person listening to it and gives them that 1 or 2 hours of a diffenrent world where they dont have to think about everyday bullshit insted they can go away from it.

sticking to the music and the people that you believe in and if you have that integrity and can stand behind your project then someone else will hopefully see it as well.

This is a tricky question, I don't think I have the same idea of success as most band members.

perhaps this question was not pertaining to sex, I just naturally started thinking about "making it" as sex, industrial sex, non-industrial sex, standard sex, manual sex, custom sex, and what kind of sex this could be, exactly.. but I may be off track. good thing, I was about to consider how long of a wait everyone would have.. to know when I !@Fdfgh%^%^ %^&GHJ hjkk^&& 8ijkhhk7800 kjh#DFGHH:"0-00lkKK jjhu^^& **IM UU*UY%^&^j !@#$ WHO KEEPS DOING THAT????!!!!!!!!!

How do you get started as a indie band in this town? What are the things you've found helpful in getting that key break?
