rock and roll is a vicious game, baby, and it's mostly coz of the rumours... the latest that i've heard is that the pride of vancouver, littleMANsyndrome, will be playing the 'yard tomorrow night in the middle slot, sandwiched between openers "rye catcher" and headliners "STARfly"... so, we probably be hittin' tha' stage at 'bout 10ish... damn, am i ever stoked... i may even change my hair colour again for this one... nasty piece of rumour #2 is that there's some sorta cheap cheap cheap ass bevvie specials @ the 'yard (between hastings and cordova on carral st., for those of ya who ain't hip to the scene)... mmm, cheap bevvies... let's hope todd's drivin'!! i've been out to bars almost every flippin' night for the last 2 weeks and i ain't tied one on for yonks (tied a few up tho'... mmm, social filter? completely lacking)
sage's fave song of the week "hemmorage" (ya, i dunno how to spell that...) by fuel... beauty tune...
sage's fave vancouver bands to plug this week (other than the 2 i play in) speedbump @ bandfest 2000 and the joint chiefs on citr on friday night/saturday morning at 3 am... the chiefs are the only old school metal band worth listening to in this town... unfknbelievable guitar and bass parts, dual vocals, great sociologically aware lyrics.. all around dope shit...
