I saw 'Shine' tonight at the Media Club for the first time. Very cool....Smooth, solid, tight sound, real pros. Good harmonies, backups and good songs. The lead singer caused me to think of a mix of Janis Joplin, Amanda Marshall and the lead singer of the 'Black Crowes' sorry, forgot his name :-) You know, some of your tunes may sound even better with alittle of that 'rock' organ/piano sound added? Also met Neil, the (I believe) bass player. Really personable people, genuine. That's counts for something, I think in these times of rock n roll and competition. Really good energy on stage...I'm a new fan, I look forward to the cd 'Shine!' I like the name too!
