Awesome!
Aaron Booth - Our Last Escape

By David McPherson

Release Date: March 9, 2004

On Our Last Escape, this nerdy and intellectually looking pop songwriter from Toronto packs a punch with catchy songs. This disc is Booth's first record on indie label Endearing Records.

Guest musicians include Jeremy Gara (Kepler), Mike Feuerstack (Snailhouse) Mike Schultz and co-producer Dave Draves. Throughout the disc, Booth is accompanied by some lush string and brass arrangements; especially potent is the lapsteel guitar on the alt-country offering "Ramblin Train."

Highlights include the infectious "How Long" with its memorable chorus and "Fall Over Me Satellite," a song that will be featured in an upcoming Season 1: Party of Five DVD.

With melodious pop songs, Booth's Our Last Escape is another refreshing offering from Endearing that showcases an artistic singer-songwriter continuing his musical maturation.

Our Last Escape is out now on Endearing Records.
