The Plaza Club hosted The Pipettes in their closing show of the tour on Friday June 15. The British 60s girl-pop band was dressed in their trademark polka-dotted outfits to perform songs from their newly released album Your Kisses are Wasted on Me. The band entertained with finger-waging, hand-clapping, and other coordinated dance moves while performing crowd favourites like You Won’t Foget Me’, ‘Your Kisses are Wasted on Me’ and ‘Dirty Mind’. The Pipettes are fun to watch because they are upbeat, full of personality, and the ladies seem to be having a great time on stage but their songs lack variety.
