Vancouvers own 'Pride Tiger'
With the drumkit front and centre on a small stage, there wasn’t much room for Payette, Dhak or Froese to jump about but this didn’t hamper the insanely loud riffs they cranked out. The band was impeccably tight and raw, with positively head-banging renditions of What It Is, White Witch Woman Blues and Forget Everything. Despite the heaviness of the music, the band’s lighthearted and fun-loving attitude only sealed their charm.
As it was, Pride Tiger showed why they should appeal to the folks without trucker hats, scruffy beards, shaggy hair and lumberjack shirts.
