Galactic @ The Commodore , October 18 th I went in cold last October 18 th, I knew very little about Galactic, except that they were a Funk / Jazz-fusion band from New Orleans. It was an interesting show, the band doles out some pretty funky music, using jazz as staple blending a hip hop element. The band has clearly bridged the gap, drawing a diverse and cultivated crowd.
