Juliette and The Licks were at Richards on Richards last Friday night. The screen actress has clearly made the leap from film to rock and roll persona. Her stage presence was of course riveting.
For those of you who aren’t quite sure who Juliette is, she has starred in films with Depp and Di Caprio, working with directors like Woody Allen, Martin Scorsese, and Oliver Stone. She is a fantastic actress and wild child, so the crossover to the rock and roll stage was only natural. She has the energy and elasticity of Iggy Pop and the pipes to back it all up.
Juliette, braved the crowd, surfing in amongst her peers, a brave move considering her celebrity status. She remarked how polite we all were…(I gather she meant no one groped her).
