Queens Of The Stone Age: Clearly not, “ Music For The Deaf “

There isn’t another band’s music that compels me to stop, and listen more so than QOTSA.
The band has been around since the late 90’s. They were here in Vancouver, last week, touring their last CD ‘Era Vulgaris” Queens of The Stone Age have foraged ahead, doing what they do best. Stoner rock, throbbing, rips your face off kind of rock. No roll, just rock.
Seeing the band play last Friday night at the PNE Forum was fabulous. The bands latest CD “Era Vulgaris “ is great. All the songs have the signature QOTSA stretchy riffs and drudging rhythmic scaling.
