Underground Talent Prepare To Strut Their Stuff At Annual Fireball Freakout

It's August in Vancouver and there's already a hint in the air that summer's rapidly dwindling away. Time for Fireball production's annual showcase of underground talent - the "Fireball Freakout"

The Freakout, hosted at the Pic, has in the past featured some of the strongest developing talent to roll out of garages and basements anywhere in North America.

The party kicks off tonight, August 17th with local line up Hi-Test, Les Tabernacles from Alberta, The Spitfires from the Lower mainland and The Vultures who have developed a reputation as one of Seattle's finest offerings. Should be a flaming line up with enough local and out of town talent to start a fire under anyone's ass...

There's also a solid line up Friday Aug, 18th with The Status (local), The contemptible Black Halos, Poison Hearts and The Yoyo's rounding out the bill.

Saturday night has probably the best line up of the three evenings. Bantam Rooster garage blues Mama from Detroit and The Load Levelers from Seattle will perform with The Harpy's - and let's not forget The Invisible Men. These guys from south of the border have a reputation for raw and unassailable rock and roll cremation.

See ya' out there.
