Fantastic! Not typical of other CD's in whch there are usually only a few nice songs. Every song within this album is exceptional.

Last Thursday night I made a quick stop at the Rusty Gull down near the North Vancouver waterfront. The Gull as the locals call it, is a small friendly pub with good food and live bands.
Thursday night was jam night . Unfortunately I wasn't able to stay for long , but I did get a chance to see a local collective up on stage. The Holbrooks, they are a musical family that haveÿcome together from other bands to lay down their own country/folk and rock band.ÿ
The family has a long history in North Vancouver, first moving here in 1932.ÿ It is a hobby bandÿthatÿenjoys playing together and covering the songs they love.ÿThe Holbrooks also have some original songs that they play from time to time.ÿThis blended collective includes Trevor, and his father John,ÿMayumi, John's wife, their daughter Miya, and cousin Bud.ÿÿJason Chapman, the drummer isÿconsidered an honouraryÿHolbrook.
The Holbrooks played their first gig at the Rusty Gull in North Vancouver and are scheduled to play March 20 at Ironworks in Vancouver, opening for Catwater.
